Totoro ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Totoro mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

Information We Collect

Totoro is designed to minimize data collection. We do not require user accounts, email addresses, or phone numbers to use the app.

Data You Provide

Search queries entered into the AI Pick feature are sent to Groq API to generate manga recommendations. These queries may be processed by Groq's servers and are subject to Groq's Privacy Policy. We do not store your search queries on our servers.

Automatically Collected Data

The app uses local storage on your device to save bookmarks, reading history, and download progress. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly back it up.

Basic crash and error logs may be collected to improve app stability. These logs do not contain personal information.

Third-Party Services

The app connects to third-party manga scanlation and hosting websites ("Sources") to fetch content. These sites operate independently and have their own privacy policies. We do not control what data these sites collect.

WebView / Captcha

When a source requires security verification, the app opens a WebView to that source's website. Cookies from that session are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to us.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
